Mayor of Kingston, Desmond McKenzie, was tear-gassed yesterday by police, while leading a group of Jamaica Labour Party councillors and mayors to Jamaica House to deliver a letter to Prime Minister PJ Patterson.
Winning the Miss Clarendon title in the Festival Queen Competition in May 2005 was something 21-year-old Tamika Hill had always dreamed since she was a little girl. "It was a very wonderful experience. It was something I always wanted to do from a very young age," she said.
